This Beautiful Log Cabin features two master suites on the main level and two bedrooms on the lower level. Two wood burning fireplaces, full kitchen, laundry, Internet, and a nice sunken hot tub in the lower level deck. Great Mountain Cabin with lots of room for the whole family. Large enough for two families to enjoy.
This cabin has loads of privacy. Enjoy the beauty of the North Carolina Mountains from this spacious Log Cabin located near Hayesville, Mountain Harbour Golf Course, Eagle Fork Vineyards and Lake Chatuge.
Located just a couple of miles from Mountain Harbor Golf Course and the vineyards. Spend a week in the mountains and Enjoy the Golf, check out the winery, rent a boat from one of the many boat rental companies in the area to soak in the beauty of the lake and the mountain backdrop. Go horseback riding, hiking, fishing, and so many more activities to choose from.
Downtown Hayesville, North Carolina and Hiawassee, GA are just a short drive from the cabin. Great shopping and restaurants to enjoy in the area.
Did I mention Two master suites on the main floor, fireplace and Wrap Around Deck with awesome Mountain Views. The Terrace level features a great room with fireplace, wet bar, game table, two bedrooms, full bath and porches and decks galore. Don't forget about the hot tub for great relaxation after a fun day in the mountains.

  What a beautiful place waaay up the mountain. I read reviews saying needed 4 wheel drive, all wheel drive, etc. I made it in my Chrysler 300. Not for every driver, but I asked for instructions before leaving to make sure I knew what to do on steep inclines in a regular car. It was a winding, steep road, but it can be done - and it was worth the drive. Great floor plan on both floors. Hot tub wasn't heating when we got there. It was fixed the next day. Making sure all amenities work properly the day of arrival would've been nice. (A big surprise had to be postponed until the second night because the hot tub wasn't heating on the first night), but we survived. I recommend, and it would be a deal breaker for coming back, is that the tvs in the bedrooms need updating. I think the actual picture was 12" wide. In both upstairs bedrooms guests had to sit in the one chair in each room and almost sit under the tv to see and hear it. TVs are very inexpensive and this is typical for a high quality property. Also, my personal recommendation and from all my guests, exchange the tv upstairs with a large tv where the big deer head is. We were not able to watch any tv all together without going downstairs, which was not possible when cooking. Also, tvs for the downstairs bedrooms. Investing in tvs would be inexpensive and would bring amenities up to par with the quality of this beautiful cabin. It rains, it was football, and at night we don't all want to watch the same thing. We enjoyed sitting around the fireplace talking, playing music also. Beds were nice and comfy, kitchen was well furnished, nice bathrooms, great fireplaces, nice outdoor furniture, grill is charcoal. It rained a couple of days when we first got there and we went down the mountain on Monday, we found most all restaurants and shops to be closed. We did find a wonderful local Italian place. Good wi-fi and phone service. Great place for a family stay. We had a wonderful time. NOW we get to plan a wedding!!!

  The house is beautiful and was a perfect arrangement for my family of adult children, spouses, and 1 grandchild. While it was obviously built and furnished with quality materials and furniture, the house is looking a little tired. The couch and chairs in the living room are well-worn and need to be replaced. The furniture on the deck needs new cushions. The television in the master bedroom on the left is spotty. It appears to be an older model. Internet access is limited and goes in and out. We loved the seclusion and peacefulness of the setting, although I was hoping for better mountain views. Removing one or two trees would open up the view (just my personal preference). The one time I needed to contact property management for a hot tub issue, the response was excellent - someone arrived within the hour. The location was great - close to the grocery store, hiking, Lake Chatuge, horseback riding, etc. I would recommend this property to a friend with full disclosure of my concerns. Overall, we had a great week.

  The house was roomy and nice. The outside decks & furniture were dirty and I had to clean these myself. There were a few issues: no curtains in one of the master bedrooms, one stove burner (gas) wouldn’t auto start, and the other master had a bed made up with a
  mattress cover melted to the sheet. The yard was all weeds and gravel. Otherwise all was good and a good time was had by all!

  The Mountain Retreat was the perfect spot for our family trip with our high school- and college-aged kids. Accommodations were very comfortable, and the downstairs living area was perfect for games and late-night gatherings while others slept upstairs (recommend adding photos of downstairs to Vrbo listing). The weather wasn't great, but we found plenty to do at and close by the cabin -- hot tub was fun while it rained. Would definitely recommend!

  The cabin was as pictured. It was a short steep drive to get to it, but doable. It was decorated as if it were a personal residence with nice finishes in decor. It was stocked well. The fireplaces and wood available was great particularly since you could lit with a gas hookup to FP. The two living areas made it fabulous for adults and children. All enjoyed the hot tub.
  
  We had two issues. We only had one small can to put trash. We had to leave tied up trash inside the cabin upon leaving.
  
  The worse part was the water heater didn’t work. We reported it, but I think since it was Thanksgiving, no one came to fix it. At least that is my supposition. Cold showers were not good for any of us. I think we were thankful for a hot tub. I do believe we should have been compensated for that inconvenience, but we didn’t let it bother us having a good time. I would just make sure the water heater is fixed before booking. Otherwise, enjoy this lovely propriety that owners have paid attention to many details.

  This place was a perfect get away for our two families. It had everything you need - and the limited wifi/internet was a blessing in disguise. Teens who had to "unplug" and connect with each other and their parents! Beautiful setting, quiet and relaxing. yes the drive up is a bit intimidating but can be done easily if you just put your gears in low. This place does not disappoint!
