  We really enjoyed our stay at Lakeview Vista. We had our family of 10 plus our dog. The home was clean and very comfortable. The kitchen worked out well for our large group as we cooked meals there each day. I was so happy about the yard. There was a smaller fenced in area for my dog that was perfect for a quick potty break and also a fenced in larger yard for play time. Perfect! The sunrise view from the balcony was glorious! I loved the many different sitting areas that were available too. Lastly, the whole process of paying for a checking into the home was very smooth and easy. Other than 2 minor issues (a wobbly downstairs ceiling fan that kept us awake upstairs and a door that would not lock) I would definitely recommend this place.

  So let's say you need to go away to a beautiful, clean home that is like a cocoon...with everything you need for a place to restore yourself, be with your family, or friends. This is the place. The view stuns. The house is filled with lovely light. There are spaces to gather and spaces to be alone.The beds are great. I appreciated being able to open a door that leads right to the dog run. There are neighbors and you are not in woods but this place is just amazing.

  We rented this cabin last year and were amazed at how great it was. We ended up renting it again for this year, but we were surprised at how unprepared it was for our stay. We arrived to find that it had not been cleaned at all. It was still in the condition it was left by the previous renters. Full disclosure, we were 30 minutes early to check-in, but there was no way the cleaning crew that arrived 15 minutes before check-in could've gotten things clean in time. They left around 430 with mold in the shower and pee stains still on the toilet. We had to call 2 times to get them out there. The house and view was still great, but the overall cleanliness of the place was less than desirable.

    Michael, Thank you for taking the time to write a review on your recent stay at the "Lakeview Vista" property. Thanksgiving is a very busy time with the vacation rentals and we get totally booked in all of our properties. This year was no exception. I understand your frustration when you checked into the property and it had not been cleaned yet. We try our best to have all the cabins and properties cleaned, sanitized and ready for guest when they check in. Unfortunately during very busy times such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years etc. when there are multiple same day check out and check ins, you have to understand that the cleaning crews can get a little behind. That is just the beast of the business. I know you checked in 30 minutes early and that is quite OK and I do appreciate you calling me and letting me know that the property had not been cleaned yet. I immediately contacted the cleaning crew and they were in route to the property to clean. I contacted you back to let you know and they arrived shortly after I called. Everything seemed to be OK at the time as it was being cleaned. In your review, (and once again I thank you for taking the time to do that) I noticed that you gave the cleanliness a 1 and in the comment section you mentioned about mold and pee stains still on toilet. After contacting me twice on the day you arrived, I am puzzled that you would not call me about any issues that you discovered after they cleaned the property. I would have gotten the cleaning crew to come back out and take care of any issues or items they may have missed. Cleanliness and getting the property sanitized is very important to our company and we take it very seriously. I do truly apologize for any issues but I never heard anything else during your 4 night stay. Once again we do thank you for staying with Majestic Mountain Getaways, Inc. and we do appreciate your business and we look foreword to seeing you again soon.

  Loved everything about this house! Description and photos are accurate. Nice location for hiking and walking trails, and close to shops & restaurants (though we didn't go to any). Well maintained and very clean inside and out. Very dog-friendly, too, with a large fenced in yard. There are many steps to get to the yard, so if your dog has trouble climbing, I wouldn't recommend. I highly recommend this rental!

  Updated nice view and glasses in porch lake home! Home has all the amenities you would need inside and a great space to relax. Need to laminate your wifi code and source and also put that info with your arrival instructions. For those with teens and who work to come stay at your place, they should not have to take an hour to figure it out off a piece of scrap paper in the desk by the computer. People use WiFi on their phones, for internet access on kindles, notebooks, laptops, etc. to relax and also do work like check emails at your rentals home. Your home is lovely and we enjoyed it very much. My only suggestion for improvement.
