Getaway to the North Georgia Mountains and enjoy some of the great events that take place in the surrounding areas including the Georgia Mountain Fair, and much more.
Spend the day on beautiful Lake Chatuge. Boat rentals are available from several marinas including The Ridges, and Boundary Waters and also from Young Harris Watersports.

This cabin has a full kitchen with an open floorplan. Great for when the whole family likes to hang out together and enjoy a nice vacation.

  We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed the cabin. The location was good to various places we visited. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. There was no Internet but was Dish TV and good cell reception . Would highly recommend this for your next stay.

  My daughter and granddaughter stayed at the Jack and Louise. They loved the cabin. Greg was wonderful to work with, friendly and professional. We had to extend their stay a couple of times due to unforseen circumstances. Greg was very accommodating. I will recommend Majestic Mountain to anyone!

  Cabin was exactly as advertised so nice and clean. The kitchen has many pots and pans and upgrades. Beds were comfortable. Loved the big porch with chairs. Cabin was area was quite. If there was anything negative it would be the steep hill and parking. The online picture must have been made as soon as cabin was completed because now it has big plants and trees. It's difficult to get 2 midsize cars on parking area.

  We needed time away to breathe. I could not have asked for a better home or town to relax in! We stayed out of the hustle bustle of Helen and enjoyed the lake and the quietness. The house was spotless, the beds were comfy and the front porch was a simple, quiet place to relax.

  Great time at a beautiful and very clean mountain location. Went fishing on Lake Chatuge with a guide and caught several nice spotted bass. In Hiawassee we used outdoor pickleball courts and had long walks through the fairgrounds. Nice gym at the community rec building. Even found two nice quilt shops in nearby towns. The only challenge was the steep roads in and out of the cabin. Will come back next year.

  Our stay at Jack & Louise’s cabin was one of the best experiences we have had with mountain cabin rentals. First of all, it is quite reasonably priced and very convenient to grocery stores, State Parks, Lake Chatuge and water falls. Next time we will bring extra paper towels as we go though them quickly and had trouble finding them at Ingles and dollar stores. We would definitely recommend this cabin 100% and hope to return in the Fall.

  House was extremely clean and fully furnished, especially the kitchen. Everything you need to cook. I will recommend on NOT bringing a boat or trailer. The house is on the side of a mountain and is very steep. Very hard to turn a boat around, and back up as well (had to use 4x4). The only level place on the property is the two car parking spot "driveway". Single lane "two lane" road about the last mile to the house so be careful for meeting someone head on. Luckily there was a marina 10 minutes up the road I was able to store the boat at for the duration of our trip for a small fee. Overall the house was very nice, close to town, and the lake is BEAUTIFUL!!! I'm sure the view from the front porch is great in the fall as well.

  We had a wonderful time the cabin was perfect, so nice inside! So cutely decorated and perfectly cleaned we could not ask for more. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting out on the back porch and just looking around to watching the lightning bugs at night. The cabin was in a great location. I have already told friends and family about the cabin and we will certainly be back.

  Love the area, so many things to do and see. Arrived at the cabin and found it to be very very clean ,neat and nicely decorated. The kitchen is fully equipped and everything is provided. The bathrooms are very spacious. The beds are super comfortable and very nice Linens and bathtowels provided.
  There is a really great Ingles in town where you can pick up anything you can imagine for all your meals
  It was so nice to sit out on the balcony listening to the birds and enjoying the view.
  This place really makes you feel at home.

  A lovely cabin in the mountains. Very well kept, very clean. It still smelled new. Cabin was well stocked with just about everything you would need. It could use a iron & ironing board. It did not have wifi, which would be a great help. Very quite in the mountains. 15 minute drive to stores in Hiawassee. Very steep hills from the main highway to cabin. Plenty of room for 2 couples.
  Many scenic locations & waterfalls within 30-60 min away. Restaurants within 5-10 miles. I would definitely return again!

  We were happy to find a cabin that was dog friendly although there was very little flat land! This wasn't a vacation as such but the cabin met our needs and we were happy to find it. The cabin itself was nicely done and spanking new! It had all the amenities one would want in taking a vacation in the mountains. The road to the cabin is a little steep and there was a lot of downhill which made going up hill very hard. Overall, it was very clean and well-maintained.

  We arrived at Jack & Louise's Cabin to find it perfect for our stay. It appeared brand new as if we were the very first guests. The home is at the end of the road with two other homes across the street. We never saw anyone and felt like we were alone. It is a short ride down the road to Hiawassee where there are good restaurants and Ingle's for grocery shopping. We would highly recommend and hope to return. From the road you can see the top of Bell Mountainl. Great experience!!
