  We loved our stay at Bear Paw Ridge! We actually saw a bear cub on our way up the mountain! The space is big enough for a family while still keeping that cozy mountain feel... breathtaking views from the back porch... well apportioned and clean... conveniently located near Blairsville, Helen, & Cleveland... and we were able to day trip up to raft the Ocoee in TN, hike Brasstown Bald, and visit the N GA Mountain Fair! We will definitely be back in all seasons... We left feeling refreshed, rested, and renewed!

  It had the most beautiful view you could ever imagine, The road was a little steep to get there but it was well worth it. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area especially if you like hiking and site seeing.

  My husband and I stay in vacation rentals six to eight times a year, and Bear Paw Ridge is our favorite rental to date. The house can easily accommodate a large party as there are three levels, each with a bedroom or sleeping area and a bathroom. There is also plenty of room for additional air mattresses. The family room has two especially comfortable leather recliners and a sofa. The kitchen is the best stocked kitchen I have ever enjoyed at a rental; and in addition to an inside dining area, the wraparound deck and screened-in porch offer additional dining spaces. Added bonuses are a pool table and a hot tub! And did I mention the view??? OMG - uninterrupted views of the North Georgia mountains and wilderness - absolutely stunning!!

  A beautiful mountain home, right out of a magazine. Mountain View’s in all directions.
  Relaxing and peaceful. Home equipped with everything you would want or need. Close to many great hiking areas. Loved the town of Blairsville.
  Just don’t arrive after dark as it is a dark mountain road.

  Bear Paw Ridge cabin was beautiful with spectacular views of the Mountains. It was clean and comfortable. We only had a problem with the microwave and lower floor bathroom but reported to the caretakers and they will correct. The Hot Tub and pool table were a plus. The kitchen was well-stocked and there were plenty of towels. Also the beds were comfortable. There was plenty of closet space.

  This property had amazing views and very spacious. The screened in porch was perfect for the nights sitting out and enjoying the weather. My daughter caught her first firefly here. The beds were comfy for a great night sleep. Blairsville is not far from the cabin so we bought groceries and cooked on the brand new grill and fully loaded kitchen. If you get a chance go to Helton waterfall there is a swimming hole at the top. We also enjoyed Helen and the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway which were all not a bad drive from the cabin.

  We visited this cabin during the Coronavirus pandemic. Although upon arrival, the cabin had no heat. Greg Langston visited the cabin himself. He found the propane tank was empty. Greg located another cabin for us. We had to move. We came back the next day. The propane tank was refilled around 3. This little mishap disrupted 2 vacation days but Greg did the only thing he could do. After we got past this little hiccup it was smooth sailing the rest of our trip. The cabin has a beautiful views and the cabin had everything we needed. We love Blairsville and the people who live there. What a wonderful community.
